Eric Hirschberg

Executive Vice President, Lockton Companies

After attending his first Wish of a Lifetime Gala in 2011, Eric resolved that WOL’s mission had to become his mission. He was extremely grateful to have the opportunity to join the Board in 2012.

Eric is Executive Vice President of Lockton Companies, and has been a member of Lockton Denver’s leadership team since 2001. His career in the insurance brokerage/consulting business spans thirty years, during which time he has worked for several of the world’s largest global insurance brokers. He entered the commercial insurance industry after attending Stanford University and Oxford University. He later completed the Leadership Development Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Business. Eric is also a Founder of First Commons Bank, a nationally chartered, FDIC community bank serving the Boston metropolitan area since its founding in 2009.

Eric has been active in the Leadership Giving Group for the Mile High United Way since 2001 and was very active in youth coaching in Parker while raising his three children — Helen, Pat and Will – all of whom are now in college, one of whom has served as an intern at WOL.

Eric’s respect and appreciation for older adults begins at home – his mother and father, ages 92 and 93 respectively, continue to inspire and overcome. His father is a decorated WW2 veteran, having served in General Patton’s Third Army from 1944-1945 during the historic Allied invasion of Germany.
