On December 7th, 1941, Mel Heckman was assigned to the fire station on Ford Island as part of a 24-hour rotation of duty when he saw one of the first bombs dropped on Pearl Harbor. Here’s a look into what Mel did on his trip in part 2 of our 3-part series on his incredible Wish of a Lifetime.
