Bradley boards the USCGC Venturous
When he became a U.S. Coast Guardsman, Bradley was proud to be the third generation of his family to do so, following his father and grandfather to the sea.
As a Boatswain Mate, Bradley was a jack of all trades, doing everything from standing watch to assisting as a search and rescue swimmer.
He made so many incredible memories during his service.

A voyage into the past
When Dementia began to steal moments of his life, Bradley’s wish was to relive his Coast Guard memories.
Bradley was treated with honor as he boarded the USCGC Venturous. Many memories came to life when he explored the familiar vessel—like the time he was thrown overboard by a rogue wave!
Bradley even received a Captain’s salute. He left with a reinvigorated pride for his service in the U.S. Coast Guard.

“When we departed, the captain saluted my brother, and Brad saluted her back. It was really moving. This was the desire of his heart.”
— Randi, Bradley’s sister
