Our mission
As a charitable affiliate of AARP, Wish of a Lifetime® sparks hope and joy in the hearts of older adults by fulfilling their dreams through personalized experiences that promote healthy and purposeful aging. We share these stories to inspire those of all ages.

A few years later, her second dream came true when the Smithsonian Institute announced that they would accept her husband’s, Colonel James Randall, memorabilia at a celebratory lunch in his honor.
Aging is universal

Far too many seniors lose touch with their communities when facing barriers beyond their control. Whether economic factors, health challenges, or social inequalities, these challenges can seem insurmountable when faced alone.

When older adults experience a lack of connection to the people, places, and events that shaped their lives, it leads to feelings of hopelessness—blocking their ability to age with joy.
