Ann G., 81, has been always been an active member of her community. After retiring from her job as an art teacher, she has used her free time to raise money for various charities, knit for different organizations, and help out around her community. Ann also enjoys writing plays and seeing the residents and staff of her community perform them for the other residents.
Ann moved to Boulder, CO from Brooklyn, NY when she retired. In her more than 20 years in Boulder, the balloons that can often be seen filling the skies in the mornings have always interested and excited her. One day, when a balloon landed in her front yard she saw it as a sign that she too needed to take a ride. Finally, on June 6, 2014, Wish of a Lifetime was able to send Ann to the skies where she soared over Boulder, CO.
