Betty Attends Chicago Cubs Game at Wrigley Field

Betty K., 74, is a kind-hearted resident of Sterling House of Middleton in Middleton, Wisconsin. She’s a lifelong baseball fan who fell in love with the Cubs after meeting her husband Bob, a die-hard fan. Betty’s Wish of a Lifetime was to attend a Chicago Cubs baseball game at historic Wrigley Field.

Betty grew up a Milwaukee Brewers fan, but became a Cubs fan over the 50 years with her husband. The two of them would watch the games on TV all season long, but Betty had only made it to one Cubs game in her life. She had not been to a baseball game in 20 years.

Betty has maintained a positive spirit through the many obstacles she’s faced in her life. She is generous and caring, and has an infectious smile that radiates throughout her Brookdale community. Thanks to Wish of a Lifetime and Brookdale, Betty honored her husband and celebrated their love of baseball, attending the Cubs opening day at Wrigley Field on April 4th, 2014.
