Beau Ballinger

Beau’s life has been immeasurably impacted by older adults, and he has been fortunate to have myriad opportunities to learn from their experiences, laugh at their jokes, and acknowledge their contributions to their families and communities. Beau believes that older adults personify his favorite quote by Winston Churchill, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”

Beau joined Wish of a Lifetime in 2022 after 18 years of working in nonprofit management, including a dozen years with AARP and the AARP Foundation. He’s thrilled to be part of a team that is striving to make a world where aging is celebrated, the wisdom of older adults is revered, and stories live on for generations.

When he’s not working on developing strategy and streamlining processes, Beau partakes in hiking and travel adventures with his husband, son, and two dogs. He also enjoys reading, watching live theater, catching a concert at Red Rocks, streaming the next show in his ever-growing queue, and playing games with friends and family.
