Diane C., 79, is a wonderful, family-oriented woman who resides in Loveland, Co. Originally from Michigan, Diane moved to Colorado over 20 years ago to be closer to her daughter Cheryl and escape the brutal winters of the upper East Coast. Despite her love for Colorado, she misses her family and friends that still reside in Lansing and longed to see them. Due to the high cost of traveling and a few health issues, Diane had not been able to go to Michigan in over 4 years. In April, Diane’s only grandson, Jeremy, got married in Lansing and her Wish of a Lifetime was to attend this special event and reunite with children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren.
It was extremely important to Diane to be a part of her grandchildren’s lives and keep the connection strong, but it has proved to be difficult as she has gotten older and because of the distance between them. Because of Diane’s deep desire to reconnect with family for the special event and personal sacrifice throughout the years, Wish of a Lifetime sent Diane and her daughter, Cheryl, from Denver to Lansing for the wedding. Diane said, “I still cannot believe what a nice thing you have done for me and my family. I couldn’t have done it without all your help!”
