Harvey Makes his Long Awaited Return to Lambeau Field

Harvey is a 101-year-old man who has lived in Wisconsin for the majority of his life. He spent most of his life working in factories and raising his children. However, despite his busy schedule, he always made time to cheer on his Packers. In fact, Harvey was a dedicated season ticket holder for many decades. He used to love to interact with the fans and watch his favorite players play at Lambeau Field. At 101 years old, Harvey missed the noise and cold weather of the stadium and wished to return to Lambeau one last time. Although Harvey’s health has declined and he has lost all of his family members, he still carries a wide grin on his face at all times. Harvey hoped to bring his smile and passion to one more Packers game and bid a proper goodbye to the stadium that has meant so much to him.

Together, Wish of A Lifetime and Brookdale Senior Living are proud to have been able to grant this wish for Harvey. He was able to go to the Packers vs. Colts game and root on his favorite team in box seats with his dear friend Bob by his side. Harvey said that he couldn’t sleep for many days in anticipation of his Wish and, once in the stadium, that he got the royal treatment. Although the Packers fell to the Colts on that Sunday afternoon, Harvey still swears he will never forget this day as long as he lives.

Special thanks to Kate Egan for organizing and to Dennis and Kendra Boda for their wonderful generosity in making this Wish happen.
