Minnie and Carroll have been married for 62 years. The couple originally met in San Antonio, Texas at the Lackland Airforce base and then fell in love and married shortly after that. Minnie and Carroll traveled all around the world, making stops in Brussels, London, Japan and other countries. Carroll served in the airforce for 25 years before becoming a superintendent in Oklahoma for almost twenty years. Aside from raising four beautiful children, Minnie devoted her life to serving other children and families. The couple has had a successful life of friendship, adventure and prosperity, and they have inspired countless people throughout their journey.
As aging continues to impact Minnie and Carroll, certain daily pleasures are not as simple for them anymore. Wish of a Lifetime and Brookdale were so happy to grant the couple’s wish and honor their commitment to one another on October 18th, 2017 at the Brookdale in Friendswood. The couple was treated to a special afternoon filled with ice cream and their own private photo shoot. Carroll and Minnie fully embraced the photo shoot and enjoyed their day together. Wish of a Lifetime is so grateful to a couple like this who serve as an inspiration for all of us.
