Sam, 81, of Valparaiso, Indiana, has been a Green Bay Packers football fan for his entire life. Sam is a veteran who served in Korea for six years and then returned home to later become a worker in the Steel mill for the next 44 years. Sam and his wife of almost 50 years raised two children and were very involved in his church, always giving back in as many other special ways as possible. Being an avid football fan, Sam would host the church’s Super Bowl party at his house each year, even if the Packer’s were not playing in it that year. There are several special parts of Sam that are integral to the person that he is today, and his passion for Green Bay Packers football stands out.
Sam has watched the Packers for his entire life and has decorated his room in all Packer’s décor. Sam’s wish was to attend a Green Bay Packer’s football game in Lambeau Field for the first time in his life with his son, Michael. Together, Wish of a Lifetime and Brookdale were thrilled to be able to send Sam and his son to Green Bay on October 22nd. Sam and his son both commented at how special this venue was and the two men had a remarkable weekend together. Michael said that it was so special to watch his father experience this football team in such a special manner. The two men will forever remember their chilly Sunday afternoon. at the field they’ve waited a lifetime to enjoy.
