96-year-old Pilot Jack Flies in a Fighter Jet

Jack Dorshaw spends almost every weekend flying planes. During his 30 years of Marine and Army Air Corps Service he logged thousands hours in 10 different aircraft. Jack also holds a Master Pilot Award from the FAA for his more than 50 years of flying. His extensive experience in the air would lead many to believe he’s done it all. But Jack has one dream that has never been fulfilled – his Wish of a Lifetime is to experience the thrill of flight in a fighter jet. Correspondent Kristen Dahlgren from NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt was there to witness his dream take flight. Thank you to our partner Brookdale senior living and the many supporters who made Jack’s Wish come true.
