Ray, 90, of Newport Place in Boynton Beach, FL, is a military veteran always putting others safety and happiness first. He served in WWII for three years as an Army Corporal Technician in Germany and France being drafted out of school. Upon his return, Ray dedicated himself to giving back to his community. He coached little league for many years and was always active in his church. He was on a pastoral committee, making souvenir books for the church.
Ray’s Wish of a Lifetime was to have his son, Kenn, and grandson, Skyler, flown in for Thanksgiving, from November 24, 2013 to November 29, 2013. Ray had not seen his whole family together in four years. With the help of Wish of a Lifetime and Brookdale, Ray’s son and grandson visited Ray and the rest of his family for Thanksgiving. Ray was delighted to have them with him for the holiday.
