The Danish author Isak Dinesan wrote, “The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea”. Tim Brown, 66, from Dayton OH, has experienced a tremendous amount of sweat and countless tears; yet, there is one thing that Tim had never seen, but always wanted to experience, the ocean. Furthermore, Tim had never even left his hometown of Dayton, OH.

What a privilege it was for Wish of a Lifetime and GHC Housing Partners to send Tim to see the ocean for the first time. Tim could hardly contain his excitement when he found out that he would by taking his first plane ride to San Diego, CA.  Tim was finally able to put his toes in the warm sand, smell the salty air, see the crashing waves, and experience the majesty of the great Pacific Ocean.
